Meeting POCC - A guideline
The POCC community was exchanging some thoughts on organising meetings, etc, informally, recently. In reply to a new POCC member, Santosh proposed the following, which I thought I'd just post to everybody as reference:
You want to meet POCC, or just call in an informal meeting in your local coffee club?
This is how you could announce your meeting, LOUDLY (this is just an example, not a 'rule' or anything):
1. Announce it on the Forums (http://punestartups.ning.com/forum) in a new thread.
2. Register the event on http://upcoming.yahoo.com/group/3556/ so that more people can find out about it
3. Definitely Introduce yourself and perhaps even spell out if your looking for co-founders etc. (if applicable)
4. Ask for a RSVP to your e-mail addy, also check the replies on upcoming.
5. Post to the google group mailing list (punestartups@googlegroups.com)
