I am a bizz guy with existing ventures in Management Education ( Wish-Bridge International School Of Business , Pune .) , Recruitments / And Retail/ Real Estate Business Consulting Group ( Retail Guru Asia ). I have till now worked with many organizations right from Media, Retail , Real Estate and Education.
Being Pune is growing at all the borders by leaps and bounds , and thousands of students from across the globe are landing up in the city every year, as Pune is known as Oxford Of The East, but is it really ?
The University Syllabus is not modified or updated since last 25-30 yrs, professors who teach, are either not from the corporate background, or there too old and outdated for the current industrial scenario.
when i started teaching Retail Management ,as visitng faculty / guest faculty at numerous MBA colleges in Pune, i realised that even collge owners are very reluctant to start new courses in there colleges ,as they worry about , what would ne numbers they will get as prospective students.
In my first lecture on Retail Management, at a new MBA college , many of the students who were unaware of Retail have requested the college management to add Retail Management as one of the specialization in MBA syllabus.
People whoi run , such very very industry oriented courses like PGP/MBA are themselves unaware of current industry scenario.
So, finally ,i have started my own fully equipped venture called Retail Guru Asia, which is India's leading Recruitment Company and recruits for more than 200 companies across the country and Also launched " Wish-Bridge International School Of Business " , in Magarpatta City. Roped all the possible friends of mine, who are CEOs, Directors, VPs, from various organizations to plan and execute these fantastically designed MBA programs , whihc are mix or new and old specializations like Marketing,Finance, HR, Systems, International Business, Retail , Sales, Construction and Infrastructure, Aviation, Hospitality and the list is growing.
We at Retail Guru Asia, believe that, the future of retail lies in the hands of well trained retail professionals. If there will be well trained retail professionals, the work done and the quality and perfection achieved will match the TQM policy and the organizational goals. This is not the blog, i m writing to promote my business or sumthing else. Since last some days , my inner self is making me realise and making me uncomfortable , consistently. Its the restlessness i m going through. The messages we generally get through movies like Swades, Mi Shivaji Raje Bhosale Boltoy,,and similars,,,,,,we take it as just entertainment.
